Mission of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine


Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine is committed to academic excellence preparing graduate capable to provide oral and dental comprehensive health care on national and regional level. The faculty is keen to internationalize knowledge through generating innovative and applied research as well as striving to improve dental public health. 

Strategic Goals and objectives

First goal: Increase the efficiency of the educational process and development of the educational program and curricula ensuring distinct educational program


1.1 Enhancement of educational program and curricula and updating teaching, learning and assessment strategies.

1.2 Maximizing the core values with emphasis on student centered educational process.

1.3 Implementation of internal review system and improvement of performance.


Second goal: Strengthening of human resources


2.1 Completion of academic cadres including faculty members and teaching assistants as well as administrative staff, technicians, and nurses to fulfill the reference standards and increase the educational process efficiency.

2.2 Developing the competencies of human elements including academics, administrative staff, and nurses.


Third goal: Raising the efficiency of institutional capacity and ensuring sustainable development


3.1 Maximizing the use of the faculty financial resources.

3.2 Diversifying sources of self-funding.

3.3 Maintenance and upgrading of the infrastructure and developing technological capabilities.
