Central Research Laboratory

Vision:

For the central research laboratory to become the nucleus of several research projects and routine analyses to serve many research and industrial institutions.

Mission:

Advancing scientific research at the university, and training new research cadres to provide them with different experiences to help the community find scientific solutions to confront many environmental problems.

Aims:

Research goals:

• Providing modern research equipment that serves multiple fields and disciplines.

• Providing the necessary resources that enable researchers to apply for research projects.

• Providing the suitable environment for performing joint research studies between the various scientific departments of the faculty.

Educational goals:

• Organizing training workshops on some up-to-date scientific devices, on both theoretical and practical basis of these devices. Through the workshops, scientific and research fields to which the laboratory devices can contribute to are pinpointed, thus opening new horizons for scientific research.

Service goals:

By providing consultations and technical support to sectors of the local community. Where the central research laboratory provides some central services in the areas of drug analysis, food analysis, water analysis, and others. It also provides scientific consultations to the faculty, the university, as well as some governmental and private sectors.
