Medical Convoy 2023-2024


Place: El-Maraziq Village.

The medical convoy was divided into 4 teams:

- Pharmacy team: Responsible for dispensing medications.

- Organizing team: Responsible for organizing the day.

- Registration team: Responsible for database of patients.

- Awareness team.

✓  A pediatrician, an orthopedist, a gynecologist, and two internists participated in the medical convoy.

139 patients were examined:

- 55 orthopedic cases.

- 23 childrens' cases.

- 30 gynecology cases.

- 31 internal medicine cases.

✓ About 50% of medications were dispensed.

✓ Services were provided as measuring blood pressure and blood glucose level.

Regarding the Awareness:

✓ We raised awareness about diabetes.

✓ Total awareness: 262.

​Blood Donation Campaign - Phase 2

(March 2024)


An offline promotion was implemented before the start of the campaign.

This campaign continued for four days;

The first day: we collected 24 blood bags.

The second day: we collected 22 blood bags.

The third day: we collected 22 blood bags.

The fourth day: we collected 32 blood bags.

Total collected blood bags were 100.

One day of the four was organized in El-Maraziq village.

Total awareness was 4187.

Highlights: we were sponsored by Metra Laboratory. It provided devices to check blood glucose levels as well as, 40% discount for the participating donors].




Blood Donation Campaign - Phase 1

(Oct, and Nov 2023)

We organized two blood donation campaigns in the University. The first campaign was Gaza campaign and the second was EPSF campaign. Each one lasted for three days, during which we conducted awareness to encourage people to donate blood. We are proud to announce that we were able to collect 369 blood bags during the two campaigns.

Gaza Campaign at ACU:

The first day: we collected 80 blood bags.

The second day: we collected 60 blood bags.

The third day: we collected 160 blood bags.

EPSF Campaign at ACU:

The first day: we collected 32 blood bags.

The second day: we collected 23 blood bags.

The third day: we collected 15 blood bags.

An awareness day was organized in El-Maraziq village.

Total awareness was 1865.

Highlights: we were top achievers in EPSF.




PharmaCore

(Nov 6, 7, and 8 2022)

Aim: Providing pharmacy students with pharmaceutical knowledge and skills required for the community pharmacy career.

Highlights:

3 Sessions: Vitamins – Dermatology: Skin Types – Acne – Hyper pigmentation.

1 workshop: Patient counseling.

2 days Awareness at university and school.


Students' Exchange program


In the period between mid Feb to mid Mar, 2023, we had an opportunity to host a German student for the Students' Exchange Program.

Two training fields were provided: Scientific research in Ahram Canadian University and Community pharmacy in Al-Nahas Pharmacies with a total of 80 training hours.
