Mission:
The Mandatory Training Unit - Faculty of Pharmacy, Ahram Canadian University, is committed to providing top-tier training that equips pharmacy students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical values necessary to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services. Through hands-on experience and mentorship to ensure the qualification and enhancement of pharmacy expertise to compete in the local and international markets. The unit prioritizes excellence, innovation, and research to enhance healthcare and community well-being

توفير فرص تدريب عملي لتطوير صيادلة الامتياز المؤهلين من خلال التجربة العملية والإرشاد
تزويد طلاب الصيدلة بالمعرفة الشاملة والمهارات الأساسية والقيم الأخلاقية اللازمة لتقديم خدمات صيدلانية استثنائية، وفقًا لرؤية الوحدة للتميز في التعليم والتعلم
تعزيز ثقافة الابتكار والبحث العلمي ضمن برامج التدريب لدعم تطوير خريجي كلية الصيدلة القادرين على تقديم التطبيقات الصحية ومواجهة التحديات الناشئة
ضمان أن خريجي الكلية يمتلكون الخبرة اللازمة للتفوق في أسواق العمل المحلية والدولية، مما يساهم بشكل فعال في تعزيز معايير الرعاية الصحية

Goals:
· Provide hands-on training opportunities that align with the mission of developing competent pharmacists through practical experience, mentorship, and guidance.
· Equip pharmacy students with comprehensive knowledge, essential skills, and ethical values necessary for the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical services, in line with the unit's vision of excellence in education and learning.
· Foster a culture of innovation and scientific research within the training programs to support the development of graduate pharmacists capable of advancing healthcare practices and addressing emerging challenges.
· Ensure that graduates from the obligatory training program possess the expertise required to excel locally and internationally, thus contributing effectively to the enhancement of healthcare standards.
· Collaborate with industry partners and healthcare institutions to create meaningful opportunities for practical training and professional development, enhancing the competitiveness of our graduates in the field of pharmacy.
· Continuously assess and improve the training curriculum and methodologies to adapt to the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare practices, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in achieving the unit's mission and vision.
Expected number of graduates in 2024 is estimated to be 246 students and 35 students, within the PharmD and the Pharm D Clinical curricula, respectively. Students will undergo compulsory training in several pharmaceutical health institutions and community pharmacies.
